Statistician (MTS)

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is looking for a dedicated Statistician to join its engineering team in Taichung, Taiwan. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to turn data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate data from multiple departments into structured databases
• Perform calculations, power analyses and pattern interpretation using statistical software such as R, SAS and Python
• Identify trends and correlations that inform strategy and operational improvements
• Share findings through reports, dashboards and executive briefings
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards

Required profile

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience as a statistician in the semiconductor industry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities

Preferred qualifications

• Track record in planning and forecasting
• Familiarity with yield and quality analysis
• Expertise in master data governance and process optimization
• Ability to deliver data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment
