Site Quality Lead

About the role

The Site Quality Lead is responsible for executing and reporting quality performance at a Lam Research site. This on‑site role ensures accurate quality documentation, validates corrective‑action effectiveness, and drives cross‑functional alignment to improve customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of quality reporting, including detailed problem descriptions, SAP damage code selection, and customer impact level.
• Execute site quality objectives, track progress against targets, and communicate gaps to stakeholders.
• Develop problem statements, conduct root‑cause analysis (5‑Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone) and validate corrective‑action effectiveness.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and close performance gaps.
• Partner with site teams and stakeholders to resolve high‑priority customer concerns and improve overall quality performance.
• Update 8D documentation and communicate changes in customer impact to the factory.
• Drive process improvements, share best‑known methods, and use Lam escalation processes for non‑compliance issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 4+ years in the semiconductor industry or quality management, or 10+ years in quality‑related roles outside semiconductor.
• Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with SQN or comparable quality/data management systems.
• Knowledge of SAP for damage code selection.
