Senior Quality Engineer – Manufacturing (Tainan)

About the role

ASML is seeking a senior quality engineer to lead technical quality initiatives within its manufacturing operations in Tainan. The role combines deep expertise in quality management systems with the ability to mentor teams, drive cross‑company discussions and implement strategic road‑maps.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality control, assurance and compliance projects, applying advanced analytical and statistical methods to assess product and process quality.
• Drive risk management activities, identify and document risks, and implement preventive actions to ensure predictable outcomes.
• Manage investigations of non‑conformances, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sectors and suppliers.
• Develop and deliver training programmes, mentor junior staff and act as the functional expert on quality within the organization.
• Coordinate documentation, reporting and audit activities, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field with extensive experience in supplier/manufacturing quality.
• Proven track record in leading large‑scale quality projects, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering measurable improvements.
• Hands‑on mentality, strong execution power and ability to create urgency for systematic problem solving.
• Experience in a global technology environment (e.g., semiconductor, electronics, automotive).
