Service Supervisor – Service Team Lead

About the role

The Service Supervisor will lead Bruker’s Nano Surfaces and Metrology (BNSM) service organization, ensuring high‑quality support for customers using advanced scientific instruments. This senior position combines operational leadership with hands‑on technical oversight to drive customer satisfaction and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily service operations, allocating resources to meet urgent and high‑impact tasks.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair activities across the BNSM portfolio.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customers, working closely with factory, technical support, and engineering teams.
• Coach and develop team members in both technical expertise and soft‑skill competencies.
• Monitor performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business targets and continuous improvement of service processes.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Technical Services, Engineering, and Operations.
