Senior Purchaser – Wind Energy Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Purchaser to lead procurement activities for crane, manpower and transportation services supporting on‑shore and off‑shore wind farm projects across the APAC region. You will work within a matrix organisation, reporting to the Head of Service Procurement APAC, and collaborate closely with service, production and legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Hire crane, manpower and transportation services for wind energy projects during the service phase.
• Manage all service procurement for Taiwan wind sites, including RFQ creation, supplier selection and contract negotiation.
• Generate quote comparisons, develop negotiation strategies and finalize high‑value contracts.
• Draft and amend complex documents such as Letters of Authorization, Letters of Intent and contracts in partnership with the legal team.
• Track cost‑out initiatives and produce regular management reports.
• Execute supplier risk assessments using standard risk tools and ensure compliance with global sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sourcing/Procurement Engineer in the wind energy sector.
• Strong understanding of wind market dynamics and solid business judgment.
• Ability to negotiate and close high‑value contracts.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis and interpretation.
