Senior Proposal Manager – Taiwan

About the role

Shield AI is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead and support international government and commercial proposals for its Taiwan team and the broader Asia/Middle East (ASME) market. The role sits within the Business Development Operations (BD Ops) team and requires strong communication, detail‑orientation, and the ability to drive cross‑functional proposal efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end proposal execution from pre‑RFP planning through submission and closeout for Taiwan and ASME regions.
• Manage competing priorities across proposals, RFIs, ROMs, white papers, and other deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, high‑quality submissions on schedule.
• Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Mentor proposal contributors and support briefing and presentation development for customer engagements.

Required profile

• 2‑4+ years of U.S. Federal or international government proposal development or BD operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent experience with a strong academic record.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively across all organization levels.
• Fluent in Mandarin with the ability to read and write traditional Chinese.

Required skills

• Experience with proposal methodologies such as Shipley and development of compliance matrices.
• Proficiency in implementing project‑management tools and processes for bid lifecycle management.
