Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales Manager – Taipei

About the role

Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team and seeks a high‑energy Sales Manager to drive prospecting, strategic account development and revenue growth for Ubuntu‑based solutions in the IoT and embedded market.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory sales plan targeting security‑focused brands and manufacturers.
• Collaborate with marketing to raise brand awareness and generate pipeline.
• Develop pipeline through outreach, local marketing and industry events.
• Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Work with Field Engineers to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and data in Salesforce.
• Establish relationships with key influencers and decision‑makers.
• Coordinate with support, delivery and management teams.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic record and a technical undergraduate degree.
• Proven ability to exceed expectations and achieve sales targets.
• Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software or enterprise software.
• Professional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
• Experience with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu preferred) and strong interpersonal skills.
• Result‑oriented, detail‑focused and accountable.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events.
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
