Senior Product Security Engineer – Offensive Security

About the role

MediaTek is looking for a senior professional to lead product security initiatives across its mobile and automotive platforms. The role combines offensive security research, threat modeling, and the development of advanced testing tools to protect next‑generation devices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and propose security design improvements for system architectures.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, secure code reviews, fuzz testing, and penetration testing of software components.
• Develop custom penetration‑testing scripts, tools, and methodologies to discover new vulnerabilities.
• Research emerging attack techniques and integrate findings into security testing frameworks.

Required profile

• Experience with Android/Linux mobile security or automotive security.
• Knowledge of hardware and software vulnerability exploitation techniques.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and/or Rust programming.
• Familiarity with ARM or Risc‑V CPU architectures.
• Experience building, using, or developing AI‑based security tools and agents.
• Preferred: background in security development lifecycle, mobile hacking (Wi‑Fi, 4G/5G), automotive TARA, secure code review, and fuzzing/pen‑testing.
