Senior Manager, Finance

About the role

The Senior Manager, Finance will partner with all levels of the business to provide high‑quality financial analysis and support for strategic decision‑making. This role leads a finance team, ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve complex GAAP and regulatory issues, providing technical guidance to the team.
• Deliver financial analysis to identify risks, evaluate exposure, and recommend actions.
• Train and educate employees on day‑to‑day functional responsibilities.
• Set direction for the finance team, align results with strategic goals, and communicate expectations.
• Collaborate with senior management on budget ownership, performance metrics, and personnel decisions.
• Identify and raise risks and exposures to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Experience managing professional employees or large, complex technical teams.
• Accountable for team performance, budget, and results within the finance function.
• Ability to adapt departmental plans to resource and operational challenges.
• Strong decision‑making guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
• Full management authority including performance reviews, recruitment, and disciplinary actions.
