Senior Manager, Controlling & Treasury

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Controlling and Treasury function. The role will oversee cash management, payment operations and fintech partnerships, ensuring efficient and compliant financial processes across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cash functions including positioning, reporting, forecasting, wire payments, fraud prevention, FX management, bank account setup and maintenance, and bank relationship management.
• Manage timely and accurate settlement and reconciliation of payments.
• Support intercompany loans, settlements, accrued interest and related accounting activities.
• Ensure day‑to‑day cash management activities comply with internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Provide treasury support to internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Drive project implementation for system automation, reporting, process improvement and control enhancements.
• Identify cost‑saving and profit‑maximizing opportunities related to treasury operations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Manage commercial relationships with acquirers, payment gateways and service providers, negotiating rates, settlement terms and service levels.
• Coordinate with regional and product teams to prioritize new payment methods, features, integrations and market requirements.
• Evaluate financial, operational, control and regulatory implications of payment products and partnership proposals.
• Collaborate with Legal, Commercial and Operations to support AML and other regulatory obligations for payment‑facilitator activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, preferably in treasury.
• Proven experience in bank relationship management and maintenance.
• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization.
• Experience with payment‑facilitator and fintech compliance is a plus.
