Senior Line Haul Specialist (Middle Mile)

About the role

The Senior Line Haul Specialist plays a key part in arranging and optimizing line‑haul truck operations, analyzing service performance, managing vendor and route‑level activities, and driving process improvements through effective cross‑team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange line‑haul trucks using the system and communicate with relevant teams (FCs, hubs, camps, vendors, etc.).
• Analyze transportation service status and improve service levels through collaboration.
• Manage vendor and route‑level operations and settlements.
• Establish initiatives to improve overall truck transportation processes and handle related communications.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in logistics and transportation management.
• 2+ years experience as a manager (sub‑team leader or team leader) in logistics/transportation.
• Proven ability to plan logistics operation processes, manage operations, metrics, and report to management.
• Experience developing or using TMS/BMS/WMS systems.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to report insights to top management.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Willingness to work day shifts and occasional alternative shifts during peak seasons.

Required skills

• Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms).
• SQL for data querying and reporting.
• Proficiency with Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms.
