Regional Account Manager – VIP Accounts

About the role

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) serves as the primary interface between strategic accounts and Morrison Express’s internal teams across the region. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, translating requirements into operational execution, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts, supporting the Global Account Manager in ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop account growth strategies, and collaborate on pricing and Quarterly Business Review preparation.
• Monitor shipment status and service delivery, coordinating pick‑up, booking, and delivery arrangements across the region.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for the region, align with Local Account Managers on new requirements, and lead project management to meet evolving customer needs.
• Collect and track KPIs, submit timely reports, flag potential service issues, and prepare performance updates for stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison across regional offices and internal teams, participating in calls across time zones as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of freight forwarding account management experience, preferably with strategic or global accounts.
• Experience serving semiconductor, electronics, high‑tech manufacturing or industrial customers is a plus.
• Proven track record in business development, account growth and customer relationship management.
• Experience working in regional or global organizations with cross‑functional, cross‑cultural teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Fluent written and spoken Chinese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
