Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel will provide expert legal guidance to ensure the organization’s activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves assessing legal risks, advising business units, and supporting the company’s strategic decisions with sound legal insight.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze law‑related issues and evaluate risk factors linked to business decisions and operations.
• Review current and proposed activities to confirm compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and well‑reasoned legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare, draft, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage liaison on projects or regulatory matters.
• Assist with the internal administrative affairs of the Legal department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm or 5 years of corporate legal experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate, regulatory, and commercial law.
• Ability to interpret complex legal texts and communicate implications clearly.
• Proven track record of drafting and negotiating legal documents.
