Senior HR & People Operations Partner – Taiwan

About the role

As TYLsemi’s first dedicated People hire in Taiwan, you will build the HR and People Operations function from the ground up. Working directly with the founders, you will shape recruitment, compensation, equity, onboarding, culture and compliance for a fast‑growing AI‑infrastructure company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR policies, systems, tools and processes to support rapid scaling.
• Lead full‑cycle recruiting for engineering, operations and leadership roles, managing pipelines, candidate experience and offer closure.
• Create and administer competitive compensation structures, benefits packages and the ESOP program.
• Develop onboarding programs and culture initiatives that reinforce the company mission.
• Ensure full compliance with Taiwan employment law, maintain the employee handbook and oversee all HR compliance matters.

Required profile

• 15+ years of HR/People Operations experience, including startup environments.
• Hands‑on recruiting experience for technical roles.
• Proven track record building or redesigning an HR function from scratch in Taiwan.
• Deep knowledge of Taiwan employment law and APAC hiring practices.
• Experience designing equity/ESOP programs and supporting engineering or deep‑tech teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HRIS tools such as Rippling, Gusto and Lattice.
• Compensation benchmarking using platforms like Radford and Levels.fyi.
