Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist – Central FP&A

About the role

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and leadership, turning commercial drivers and operational inputs into actionable financial projections. This role supports senior leaders in making high‑impact strategic decisions for Coupang’s Taiwan operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the Taiwan business, overseeing the annual budget and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Conduct strategic and deep‑dive financial modeling to provide insights that guide senior executive decisions.
• Serve as the primary finance partner for local business units, translating commercial developments into financial impacts and driving corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Corporate FP&A at Coupang’s global headquarters to communicate performance, market dynamics and strategic initiatives.
• Design and maintain management reporting structures and automated dashboards that promote accountability across teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a fast‑paced technology, digital or e‑commerce environment.
• Proven experience in corporate/central FP&A, including consolidated financial planning, modeling and executive reporting.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize large data sets into strategic recommendations.
• Business‑fluent English with excellent communication skills for cross‑functional and global audiences.
• Adaptability to thrive in a high‑growth, dynamic team environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Experience with BI and data‑visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• SQL for independent data extraction and analysis.
