Sales Specialist, Central Taiwan

About the role

The Sales Specialist for Central Taiwan will drive the implementation of sales strategies for approved pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Ipsen standards and local regulations. This role focuses on building strong relationships with health‑care providers and hospital systems across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies and achieve sales targets for the product portfolio.
• Pursue leads, promote products, close sales and coordinate internal logistics.
• Organise and manage sales programs and multiple priority projects.
• Implement marketing plans within the sales organisation and provide strategic input to sales leadership.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key customers, including HCPs and KOLs.
• Leverage expertise in oncology and pediatric endocrinology to identify and manage business opportunities.
• Understand hospital committee structures, P&T processes, DRG and reimbursement mechanisms.
• Develop market potential, reach market‑share targets and create territory‑specific plans.
• Anticipate barriers, propose solutions and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum two years of successful full‑time pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in pediatric genetics, endocrinology, oncology or urology.
• Native Mandarin Chinese speaker with working knowledge of English; willingness to improve English proficiency.

Required skills

• Knowledge of oncology and pediatric endocrinology markets.
• Understanding of hospital committee structures, Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) processes, Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) and reimbursement procedures.
• Ability to develop and execute territory‑specific sales plans.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with health‑care providers and key opinion leaders.
