About the role

The Sales Coordinator supports Marriott’s Sales & Marketing team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue. You will act as a liaison between guests and internal departments, handling reservations, loyalty program requests, and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, requests, and problems, coordinating with Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, or other relevant departments.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts such as reward points or vouchers.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemptions, reservations, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail, and enter data into the appropriate reservation system.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing team, including filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management with employee training and motivation, and monitor performance to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using reservation and loyalty‑program software.
• Strong verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
• Basic office skills such as filing, email handling, and document preparation.
