Retail Onboarding Manager – Product Compliance

About the role

Coupang is expanding its e‑commerce platform in Taiwan and seeks a Retail Onboarding Manager to lead product compliance operations. You will head a team that reviews product listings, ensuring they meet internal policies and regulatory standards while supporting a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the product onboarding review team, allocating resources and managing workflows for supplier credentials, product classification, and compliance checks.
• Partner with the Policy Team to integrate regulatory updates into operational procedures and develop training programs.
• Act as the primary liaison among internal stakeholders to align compliance goals and resolve cross‑departmental friction.
• Maintain deep knowledge of legal regulations to ensure product listings, registration numbers, disclosures, and advertising content comply with mandates.
• Optimize the onboarding review mechanism to proactively mitigate risks and collaborate with post‑onboarding teams on escalated issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in product compliance, catalog operations, or listing review management within e‑commerce or retail.
• Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end product onboarding workflows and translating regulatory changes into operational procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Highly adaptable to rapid shifts in the e‑commerce industry with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin.
