Retail Director - Luxury Goods

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Director to lead one of our prestigious luxury brands in Taiwan. The role combines full P&L responsibility with the execution of a retail strategy that drives sales, enhances customer experience, and strengthens market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the department’s P&L and deliver on sales and business targets.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on strategic initiatives that expand market share.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a multi‑store team to achieve operational excellence.
• Manage relationships with landlords, commercial partners, and key stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee annual sales budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.
• Identify growth opportunities through market trends and customer insights.
• Design and implement training and employee‑engagement programs to elevate service standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in retail management, business development, or brand management within the luxury sector.
• Proven track record managing five or more points of sale in Taiwan’s department‑store environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision‑making and execution capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
• Analytical ability to leverage data for strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high‑performing teams.
