R&D Engineering Supervisor

About the role

The R&D Engineering Supervisor will lead the full development cycle of automotive components, overseeing design reviews, new‑product introductions and verification activities. You will manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery of high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate mold design discussions with suppliers and verify that designs meet functional requirements.
• Lead the design and development of aluminum die‑casting, stamping products, DFMEA, and 2D/3D modeling.
• Conduct design reviews and progress tracking with international customers to align product specifications.
• Manage core technology and R&D teams, ensuring innovation and technical strength.
• Monitor R&D progress, costs, and achievement of management objectives.
• Develop and implement performance verification and testing methods for components.
• Analyze major quality issues and support the transition of products to mass production.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional design and product development.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams for more than 5 years.
• Mechanical engineering background preferred.
• Strong English communication skills for meetings and documentation with foreign customers.
• Familiarity with surface‑treatment processes and structural parts design.

Required skills

• APQP quality management and IATF 16949 documentation.
• Design of aluminum die‑casting shells, copper busbars, wiring harnesses.
• Vehicle environment, durability requirements and verification.
• Structural stress simulation using FEM software.
• DFMEA, DFM and simulation analysis.
• Proficiency in CATIA, AutoCAD, Pro/E and related CAD tools.
• CAE experience or willingness to receive CAE training.
