Product Development Engineer

About the role

As a member of AMD’s Product Engineering organization, you will develop end‑to‑end test and manufacturing solutions that enable new product introductions for high‑performance computing, data‑center and enterprise processors. The role focuses on delivering robust wafer‑sort test hardware and ensuring its successful bring‑up and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day wafer‑sort execution across OSAT partners and maintain stable operations during NPI.
• Own wafer‑sort yield excursions, test failures and fallout; drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions across equipment, test programs, probe cards and processes.
• Develop, validate and bring up sort hardware, including test content and hardware design for supported products.
• Ensure ATE and test‑program readiness, validating configurations, limits and content before deployment.
• Manage sort‑hardware readiness and design ownership; lead probe‑card supplier coordination, delivery tracking and risk assessment.

Required profile

• Strong technical commitment with a willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge.
• Proven experience in ATE hardware development, preferably with Advantest 93K platforms.
• Results‑driven mindset and effective stakeholder management across diverse teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration.
