Production Planner & Controller

About the role

AMD is looking for a Production Planner & Controller to manage end‑to‑end product supply from wafer fab through final packaging. The role supports both new‑product introductions and sustaining production, ensuring that supply targets are met while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze supply‑demand matching, identify root causes of shortages and drive corrective actions.
• Own product/project supply targets from wafer fab to final goods pack‑out.
• Manage OSAT partners to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Coordinate planning parameters with engineering and industrial engineering to close gaps in supply plans.
• Simulate supply‑planning scenarios for NPI and sustaining production, covering capacity, yield, IR, UPH, material flow and BOM.
• Track supply capability and provide risk‑mitigation advice.
• Monitor WIP movement, cycle time and aged material in OSATs.
• Lead cross‑functional communication to resolve excursions and recover supply.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, material management, industrial engineering or production control.
• 3‑6 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing production planning and control within a supply‑chain organization.
• Experience managing outsourcing/OSAT relationships or design houses.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
