Product Planner & Controller – Semiconductor Supply Planning

About the role

AMD is seeking a Product Planner & Controller to join its GOQ organization in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The role focuses on executing supply plans across product engineering, packaging, FTO, HWI and quality teams, while collaborating with critical semiconductor factories worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze supply‑demand matching, identify root causes of shortages and drive corrective actions.
• Own end‑to‑end product/project supply targets from wafer fab through final goods pack‑out.
• Manage OSAT partners to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Maintain planning parameters, work with engineering and industrial engineering to close gaps and enhance execution.
• Simulate supply‑planning scenarios for NPI and sustaining production, covering capacity, hardware, yield, IR, UPH, material flows, BOM and process flow.
• Track supply capability, provide risk‑mitigation advice, and monitor WIP, cycle time, and aged material in OSATs.
• Lead cross‑functional communication to resolve excursions and recover supply.

Required profile

• Passion for supply planning, strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business/material management, industrial engineering or production control.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing production planning and control within a supply‑chain organization.
• Experience managing outsourcing/OSAT relationships or design‑house environments.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
