Procurement Specialist – Tower & Raw Materials (APAC)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to lead the sourcing and supplier development for the Tower and Raw Material category, with a strong focus on towers in the Asia‑Pacific region. You will work closely with the global category manager to execute sourcing strategies, manage contracts and ensure continuous improvement of the supply base.

Key responsibilities

• Execute requests for quotation, tender activities, bid comparisons and award decisions for tower and raw material categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract negotiations and auctions within the assigned categories.
• Maintain contract implementation and master data in SAP, ARIBA and TeamCenter.
• Perform category‑specific procurement controlling, supplier evaluation and development.
• Coordinate proactively with the global procurement organization, cross‑functional teams and support functions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business‑related field; engineering background is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of professional procurement experience in an international environment.
• At least 2 years of international sourcing experience, preferably with steel and machined components.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; additional language skills (German, other Asian languages) are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 30 % of the time.
