Principal Global Account Sales

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Principal Global Account Sales leader to drive strategic growth with key semiconductor customers. The role combines traditional account management with AI‑assisted tools to enhance efficiency, allowing focus on high‑impact strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define long‑term and short‑term objectives for strategic accounts in collaboration with business units.
• Develop and execute detailed action plans, assigning ownership to Micron team members.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal teams to ensure alignment and track progress.
• Provide transparent performance reporting and hold team members accountable.
• Deliver compelling presentations and lead customer and internal meetings.
• Analyze account performance, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with field sales and internal contacts to keep account objectives clear across the organization.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, leveraging AI tools to boost productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales or marketing experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably serving customers in Taiwan.
• Proven customer‑service orientation with strong client‑facing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage demand forecasts, performance metrics, and cross‑functional relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
• Leadership capability with excellent communication in English and Chinese.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, allocate resources, and drive results.
• BA/BS in marketing, business, engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑assisted productivity tools.
