Plastic Injection Molding Technician

About the role

BizLink is looking for a skilled Plastic Injection Molding Technician to ensure efficient and high‑quality production of connectors. You will be responsible for setting up molds, optimizing machine parameters, and troubleshooting production issues while supporting new product trials.

Key responsibilities

• Execute precise mold setup and removal for daily production runs.
• Configure operational parameters and adjust machines to resolve product anomalies.
• Achieve production targets while analyzing and solving on‑site manufacturing problems.
• Perform daily inspections, routine upkeep, and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on material trials, mold testing, and prototype sampling.
• Carry out additional production‑related duties and ad‑hoc assignments as directed.

Required profile

• High School diploma, Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in connector plastic injection molding.
• Basic proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot common injection molding defects.

Required skills

• Expertise in mold setup and removal procedures.
• Ability to optimize machine parameters and perform adjustments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for injection molding defects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings.
• Capability to conduct maintenance and basic repairs on injection molding machines and peripheral equipment.
• Practical experience with JSW, Fanuc, and Multiplas vertical injection molding machines (highly preferred).
