About the role
As a Mechanical Engineer you will leverage a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to solve complex mechanical problems, design custom tooling, and enable handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts throughout the product life cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
- Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports.
- Develop, design, or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings for challenging scopes.
- Perform engineering analysis of complex mechanical issues.
- Lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
- Generate mechanical product specifications and establish standards across operational processes.
- Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes.
- Specify and review engineering documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required skills
- Inventor (3D/2D design tool)
- AutoCAD (3D/2D design tool)
- Vacuum/chamber design experience
