NPI Procurement Specialist

About the role

The NPI Procurement Specialist serves as the primary procurement contact for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring material readiness across all development phases and driving timely delivery to meet strict project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall procurement performance for NPI projects, from EVT through PVT.
• Expedite material delivery and maintain readiness of the full NPI Bill of Materials.
• Coordinate design changes with engineering, sourcing, and suppliers to avoid delays.
• Develop and maintain pricing spreadsheets to track costs and budget adherence.
• Delegate RFQs, pricing negotiations, and supplier relationship management to the Strategic Sourcing team.
• Manage the complete Purchase Order lifecycle, including receipt confirmation, AP issue resolution, and master data upkeep.
• Participate in core‑team activities, building cross‑functional relationships and reinforcing project objectives.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in NPI procurement or a similar project‑focused procurement role.
• 3‑5 years of project or program management experience in Data Center or technology‑related industries.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings, technical specifications, and design changes.
• Preferred certifications: SCMP or PMP.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
