Metrology Equipment Maintenance Shift Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking an RDA Metrology Equipment Maintenance Shift Engineer to ensure reliable operation of cutting‑edge semiconductor tools. You will work in a collaborative environment where your troubleshooting and preventive‑maintenance efforts directly impact product quality, yield and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues through proactive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Set up, calibrate and fine‑tune parameters on a variety of metrology and semiconductor tools.
• Evaluate new equipment technologies and support their qualification and implementation.
• Analyze abnormal tool behavior, apply data‑driven solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to align on quality, cost and sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with AC/DC circuits, basic electronic components and mechanical diagnostics.
• Hands‑on experience with vacuum systems and related troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component level.
• Familiarity with semiconductor process flows and equipment.
