Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Assembly

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will handle electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies while ensuring high quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics and parts lists to build, repair and test various equipment assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, audit inventory, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Test assemblies with fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Complete required documentation, data entry and perform software installs or programming when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly.
• Troubleshooting of electrical, vacuum and pneumatic systems.
• Use of test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Data entry and documentation.
• Computer programming or software installation (when required).
