Manufacturing Team Leader – Tainan

About the role

ASML is looking for a motivated Manufacturing Team Leader to manage a crew of about 15 employees at its Tainan work centre. You will coordinate daily production activities, ensure safe operations, and drive continuous‑improvement projects while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Cascade performance targets, conduct reviews, assign tasks and support skill development.
• Design and execute individual development plans, coach team members and foster career growth.
• Maintain knowledge retention, encourage natural team growth and achieve team‑level KPIs.
• Collaborate with other teams to optimise overall production performance and contribute to operational planning.
• Communicate decisions to internal and external stakeholders, turning issues into actionable insights.
• Uphold a strong safety culture through compliance checks and HS&E improvement initiatives.
• Lead continuous‑improvement efforts to boost efficiency and team performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Applied Physics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a high‑tech or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational activities to meet set objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Data‑driven decision‑making with a strong commitment to execution.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Safety‑driven attitude and strong sense of accountability.
