Manufacturing Operations Manager – AI & Digital Manufacturing

About the role

Micron Technology seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead high‑volume production, drive capacity strategy, and champion AI‑enabled digital manufacturing. The role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, cost, productivity, and output while accelerating the adoption of advanced analytics and automation across the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet output, cycle‑time, WIP, and delivery commitments.
• Own performance metrics for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and factory output.
• Develop and execute short‑term and long‑term capacity strategies.
• Utilize advanced analytics to identify bottlenecks, forecast constraints, and optimize equipment effectiveness.
• Champion AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions for capacity forecasting, bottleneck prediction, WIP management, dispatch optimization, and anomaly detection.
• Partner with Smart Manufacturing, Automation, Data Science, and Technology teams to accelerate digital transformation.
• Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong track record of implementing continuous‑improvement and operational‑excellence programs.
• Experience guiding cross‑functional teams through technology transitions.
