Field Service Engineer – Tainan

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer you will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot advanced vacuum and exhaust management equipment for semiconductor and related high‑tech customers. You will work both independently and as part of a dynamic field service team, responding to customer requests and out‑of‑hours calls within a two‑hour response window.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning and planned maintenance at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide on‑site technical support.
• Respond to emergency calls outside regular hours, maintaining a 2‑hour response time.
• Interpret electrical, mechanical and schematic drawings to guide repairs.
• Travel regularly within the assigned area to serve multiple customers.

Required profile

• Experience in field service activities or a strong engineering background.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building client relationships.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and schematics.
• Electro‑mechanical assembly and fitting.
• PLC control systems knowledge.
• Basic electronics troubleshooting.
