Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will manage daily logistics operations for a Taiwan‑based 3PL warehouse and support the Reference Lab line of business across the region. The role ensures smooth import and export processes, accurate inventory handling, and reliable service delivery to meet business and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage import/export documentation and customs declarations; coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance.
• Handle return shipments of defective instruments and spare parts, liaising with headquarters or repair centres and tracking repair status.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, storage management, inventory record maintenance, and month‑end inventory counts.
• Execute inventory write‑off procedures and analyse discrepancies.
• Prepare logistics reports, manage expense applications, reconcile billing and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Conduct local procurement of goods, coordinate with suppliers and plan inventory replenishment based on demand.
• Resolve logistics‑related issues such as damaged goods, short shipments or incorrect deliveries, providing timely updates to customers.
• Verify shipping documents for export, update daily trackers, arrange inbound shipments for lab consumables and act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in logistics, warehouse or import/export operations.
• Basic English reading and writing ability.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High willingness to take on new challenges and work under pressure.
