Keyholder – Retail Store Operations

About the role

The Keyholder supports the store management team by handling daily opening and closing operations and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This position acts as the primary point of contact when managers are absent, ensuring smooth store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with management to meet company objectives and KPI goals.
• Model The Torrid Connection through strong selling skills and customer service.
• Assist in implementing merchandise strategies and maintain a clean, inviting store environment.
• Perform register functions, using product knowledge to drive add‑on sales.
• Serve as acting Manager on Duty when store management is off‑site.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes holidays, nights, and weekends.

Required profile

• Previous specialty/apparel retail management experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve sales performance targets.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to creating an amazing customer experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing retail trends.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and reach merchandise using ladders or step stools.
