About the role
TSMC is looking for an IT DevOps Engineer to design and scale next‑generation intelligent manufacturing platforms. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and infrastructure teams to build cloud‑native solutions that drive automation and AI‑based tools across the fab environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud‑native microservice architectures and refactor monolithic applications.
- Collaborate with the SRE team to define, establish, and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Architect monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve production issues.
- Optimize and automate service maintenance and operational workflows.
- Manage project tasks, product release cycles, and promote high‑quality software development practices.
- Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging IT technologies.
Required profile
- Professional experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, F#, C#, Python or Rust.
- Familiarity with functional and object‑oriented programming paradigms.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps quality‑control processes, artifact management and CI/CD toolchains.
- Self‑motivated, critical thinker and strong team player.
