International Accountant

About the role

MEXC is seeking an experienced International Accountant to join its Finance team. You will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the company’s global expansion in the cryptocurrency and fintech space.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support accounting and financial reporting activities in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure accounting processes comply with applicable local and international regulations.
• Support international tax matters, including compliance, reporting, and coordination with external tax advisors.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate with finance, tax, audit, and other internal teams across different jurisdictions.
• Assist external audits and fulfill regulatory reporting requirements.
• Identify accounting and compliance risks and contribute to process and control improvements.
• Participate in other accounting and finance projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and other international accounting standards.
• Good understanding of accounting compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with international taxation is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, or financial services is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
