Finance Manager – Accounting & Reporting (Taiwan & Hong Kong)

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial accounting, statutory reporting and tax compliance for our operations in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The role ensures accurate, timely financial statements in line with IFRS, local GAAP and regulatory requirements while providing insight to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, ensuring GL accuracy and account reconciliations.
• Review journal entries, accruals and adjustments; maintain consistent accounting policies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and statutory reporting deadlines.
• Act as liaison with internal and external auditors; prepare statutory accounts and disclosure notes.
• Prepare and file provisional, deferred and corporate income tax returns, as well as indirect tax filings.
• Support transfer‑pricing compliance and provide documentation for local tax files.
• Maintain SOX compliance, internal controls and audit documentation.
• Identify and mitigate financial reporting risks; drive process improvement and automation.
• Oversee accounts receivable and monitor outstanding balances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years with a Big Four accounting firm.
• Strong background in statutory reporting, public accounting and multinational corporate tax.
• Fluent English; additional language skills not required.
