Inter Array Cable Transport & Installation Manager

About the role

Synera Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Inter‑Array Cable Transport and Installation (T&I) Manager to lead the planning and execution of cable installation from engineering and procurement through offshore installation, testing and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full cable T&I scope including procurement, engineering, mobilisation, execution, testing and handover.
• Develop and maintain execution plans, budgets, schedules and risk registers aligned with the overall T&I strategy.
• Lead technical tender evaluations, support contractor selection and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee installation contractors and vessel contracts, monitor performance and handle variations and claims.
• Review installation engineering, procedures and equipment suitability, ensuring compliance with survey findings and seabed conditions.
• Coordinate installation sequencing across turbine foundations and offshore substations, managing pull‑in systems and cable entry arrangements.
• Verify vessel and campaign readiness, including permits, resources and Marine Warranty Surveyor approvals.
• Embed safety‑by‑design, lead risk reviews and ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
• Control scope costs and schedule, drive recovery actions and report progress to the T&I Lead.
• Manage completion, handover documentation and closure of outstanding actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marine, mechanical, civil, electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of offshore cable installation experience, including roles such as T&I Manager, Project Engineer or Lead Installation Engineer.
• Proven experience delivering inter‑array cable scope from engineering through offshore execution.
• Strong commitment to HSE and experience with safety‑by‑design and offshore risk assessments.
• Professional proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to be based in Taipei and travel frequently to ports, contractor facilities and offshore sites.
