HR Business Partner Senior Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior strategic HR Business Partner to lead a team of professional HR Business Partners in Taiwan. Reporting to the Taiwan Country HR Head, the role will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping HR strategies that support business objectives and foster an inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Shape HR strategies and priorities to align with business unit goals and drive cultural change.
• Conduct organizational and talent assessments, develop talent pipelines, succession plans, and workforce capability.
• Design and implement change‑management, communication and engagement initiatives.
• Coach and develop executive leadership and management on performance, career development and disciplinary actions.
• Partner with COE and HR Operations to deliver HR initiatives, leveraging tools such as Workday and Workforce Dashboard.
• Perform data‑driven analytics to support business strategy and decision‑making.

Required profile

• 10+ years of HR experience with significant strategic leadership in a complex, matrixed enterprise.
• Proven ability to design organization structures and develop talent strategies.
• Experience leading high‑performing HR teams and managing senior HR partners.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Business English for interaction with multinational stakeholders.
