About the role
We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join our team and support automotive customers in defining and implementing functional safety solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional IP teams to translate safety requirements into robust hardware designs.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret customers’ functional safety requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Derive functional and technical safety concepts based on the defined requirements.
- Develop, review, and validate safety IP designs.
- Communicate and coordinate safety designs with IP development teams.
- Perform system safety analyses, such as FMEDA, to assess safety integrity.
Required profile
- MS+ degree in electronic engineering or computer science.
- Proven experience in IC design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple organizations.
- Familiarity with automotive functional safety standards (ISO‑26262) – preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive system architectures – preferred.
