Risk Management Manager

About the role

TSMC is seeking a senior Risk Management Manager to lead enterprise‑wide risk initiatives, business continuity, crisis response and insurance management. The role will shape risk‑aware culture and ensure the company makes risk‑effective decisions that protect value.

Key responsibilities

• Drive leadership, innovation and governance of risk management across the organization.
• Develop, enhance and implement Enterprise Risk Management policies, tools and business continuity frameworks.
• Ensure risk policies comply with regulations, industry standards and corporate strategy.
• Cultivate a risk‑aware culture through stakeholder engagement, education and training.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk systems, conduct compliance checks and report risk status to executives and the board.
• Support board oversight, lead risk committees and provide inputs for enterprise risk alignment.
• Oversee business continuity, crisis management and insurance (loss prevention) activities.

Required profile

• Recognized risk leader with a dynamic, proactive and decisive attitude.
• Strong people‑management and communication skills; excellent project‑management capability.
• Analytical, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑changing, high‑technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering or Science preferred) and at least 5 years of risk‑management experience in manufacturing or high‑tech multinational firms.
• Knowledge of ESH, IT, cyber‑security and supply‑chain risk domains.
• Proficient in English.
