Financial Controller – Finance Business Partner

About the role

Clarins group, a global leader in skincare and makeup, is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Taiwan subsidiary. You will act as the primary finance business partner to the General Manager and senior leadership, driving performance, ensuring governance, and providing insight for sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Retail, E‑commerce and Supply Chain teams to deliver financial insights, variance analysis and recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and monthly closing in line with group standards.
• Own full P&L and balance‑sheet visibility, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow and profitability across channels, products and customers.
• Maintain strong internal controls, support audits and ensure compliance with group policies and local regulations.
• Evaluate commercial agreements, support operational decisions and contribute to finance transformation projects.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling or finance business partnering.
• Background in retail, FMCG or consumer industries, preferably within APAC.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑market financial analysis and regional reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the capacity to influence decisions.
