Finance Manager

About the role

Dong Fang Offshore is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, control, and reporting for its offshore maritime operations. The role will support a fleet of vessels and a range of services for offshore wind farms, ensuring financial stability and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and manage the annual budget, monitoring routine financial activities.
• Analyse variances between actual costs and budgeted figures and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain strict internal control over financial payments and cash operations.
• Align revenue and cost analysis with forecasted financial statements, implementing proactive management measures.
• Review financial statements to assess operational and budgetary performance of company units.
• Oversee cashier functions and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable.
• Collaborate with internal control systems to optimise financial processes.
• Allocate funds in line with budgetary and operational requirements.
• Lead negotiations, investment, and financing activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors to satisfy audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance‑related roles.
• At least 3 years of people‑management experience.
• Preferred background in engineering, energy, maritime, shipping, or offshore wind sectors.
• Experience in multinational companies is a plus.
• Native Mandarin Chinese proficiency and intermediate English communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA or equivalent are advantageous.
