Finance Business Partner – Taiwan

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will act as a strategic liaison between the finance function and the Taiwan operations, supporting the General Manager and North Asia leadership in achieving financial targets and driving business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Track operational performance and provide commercial support to meet financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, control procedures and local statutory requirements.
• Analyse business models across business units and deliver insightful financial analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to free finance staff for higher‑value work.
• Build strong partnerships with local management and AP finance teams, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Lead and motivate the finance team to deliver timely financial reports and reduce turnover.
• Oversee monthly Flash Report consolidation, preparation, distribution and analytical commentary for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Management or related field.
• At least 20 years of accounting experience, including 10+ years in a senior finance role (Controller or CFO) within a multinational, preferably in healthcare.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation and various accounting functions.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving ability and project management experience (e.g., shared services).
