Finance & Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the full spectrum of finance operations in New Taipei, Taiwan. The role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day execution, allowing an independent professional to drive financial performance in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete set of accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with local regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan tax rules, including VAT, corporate income tax, and statutory filings.
• Prepare monthly management, inventory, and internal sales reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and optimise working capital.
• Coordinate audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators.
• Process monthly payroll, payroll withholding tax, and maintain employee personnel files.
• Handle insurance matters and support HR and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of full‑set accounting experience, preferably in a small‑team or standalone setting.
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience working for a European multinational corporation.
• Fluent Mandarin and working proficiency in English.
