Equipment Maintenance Engineer – Taiwan Fab

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support its Taiwan fabrication facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro‑mechanical equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on non‑functioning equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and re‑assemble equipment according to layouts, blueprints, and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic tools to conduct equipment check‑outs and rebuilds.
• Execute equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Maintain vacuum systems and ensure proper operation.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with schematic diagrams to the component level.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts with minimal supervision.
• Good communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic electronic components.
• Vacuum system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with test and diagnostic equipment.
• Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
