Production Technician – Equipment Operations

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Production Technician to operate and monitor equipment in a clean‑room fab environment. The role involves 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts, ensuring process quality and equipment performance while adhering to safety and 6S standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines and use computer‑based programs to perform daily duties.
• Provide machine coverage during breaks and log machine data accurately.
• Monitor equipment performance, report discrepancies promptly, and communicate with the lead.
• Run equipment according to current process specifications and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Participate in certification, recertification, and on‑the‑job training programs.
• Identify hazards, follow safety protocols, and wear clean‑room attire.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Attention to detail, discipline, and willingness to work in a FAB environment.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (day/night) and adapt to shift rotations of 6‑7 months.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate equipment and use computer‑based applications.
