Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to manage and improve our environmental and occupational health & safety systems. The role involves ensuring compliance with local regulations, supporting cross‑site initiatives, and providing occasional assistance to the TN plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the ISO‑14001 Environmental Management System, including planning and reporting internal audits.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies comply with the latest environmental laws.
• Supervise wastewater, air emissions, and waste disposal monitoring to meet legal and corporate standards.
• Participate in energy‑saving, carbon‑reduction, and resource‑recycling projects.
• Lead environmental audits, identify risks, propose corrective actions, and track implementation.
• Act as liaison with government agencies and third‑party environmental organizations.
• Maintain and improve the ISO‑45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
• Conduct workplace hazard identification, risk assessments, and develop control measures.
• Review contractor safety documentation and monitor on‑site compliance.
• Develop accident‑prevention plans, lead incident investigations, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training for employees and contractors.
• Perform regular safety inspections and participate in safety committee meetings.
• Provide EHS support to other facilities in the Taiwan region as needed.
• Prepare and submit internal and external EHS reports, including emissions and environmental tax filings.

Required profile

• A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
