Lead Assessor

About the role

The Lead Assessor will conduct and lead social compliance audits against applicable standards, ensuring quality, integrity and timely delivery for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, consistent assessments aligned with client and scheme requirements.
• Communicate clearly with clients during planning, on‑site work and reporting, and manage opening and closing meetings.
• Plan and execute audits efficiently within agreed time, budget and travel constraints.
• Maintain accurate digital records, evidence and documentation using approved audit platforms.
• Support issue resolution while respecting auditor independence and data‑security policies.

Required profile

• College graduate in Law, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Industry, Textile or related discipline.
• One year or more of experience in ESG or social responsibility audits (fresh graduates welcome as trainees).
• Proactive, open‑minded, able to work under pressure with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field audit environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with internet research, reporting and analysis tools.
• Good command of written English.
